About Bill

Mr. Mills co-founded Highland Associates in 1987. He is a principal of the firm and shareholder.Before starting Highland Associates, Mr. Mills served as chief financial officer of Eastern Health Systems, Inc., a not-for-profit health care provider headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. He is an active member of Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR) , UNPRI, Eurosif and the Responsible Investment Association of Australasia (RIAA). Mr. Mills is a member of the Consulting Board of the RIAA Academy, a board member of the Isaiah Fund, and a member of the Client Advisory Board of Hermes Equity Ownership Services. Mr. Mills earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville.
